• From £34,676 per year (starting salary)

• £27,000 joining bonus

• £5,000 bonus for earning your “Dolphins” (qualified submariner)

• Additional pay from £2,199.88 per month when at sea

• Potential to earn over £99,535 as Head of Department

About the Role

Leading a highly skilled staff in charge of the submarine’s vitals, such as the nuclear reactor, air systems, and water purification, is your responsibility as a Marine Engineer Officer (Submariner). The boat cannot operate or finish tasks without your knowledge. You can be working under pressure, employing cutting-edge technology to solve challenging problems, and supervising the welfare of the workers and the equipment.

• Oversee the teams that maintain the nuclear reactor and other vital submarine systems.
• Make important engineering choices that maintain the course of missions.
• Make sure that the propulsion, water, and air systems function perfectly underwater.
