Job Overview

We need a Senior Clinical Psychologist which join the Healthy Minds Mental Health Support Team at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. By collaboration with nearby schools the creative project provides trauma-informed care, prevention, and early intervention.Clinical leadership and the development and provision of mental health services in Sheffield’s educational institutions are part of the job description.

Principal Duties

• Team Leadership: Take charge of a group of mental health specialists providing interventions in schools 
• Clinical Oversight: Assure excellent, trauma-informed care by exercising clinical leadership.

   

• Cooperation: To improve the provision of emotional wellness services, collaborate with senior mental health leads in schools.

   

• Assessment & Project Management: Work with educational personnel to oversee audits, service assessments, and project management.

About You

As a seasoned clinical psychologist, you possess:

• Clinical psychology doctoral training with HCPC registration. 
• Experience using psychological theory in practice and working with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
• A cooperative strategy for working across disciplines and agencies.
• A proactive attitude and self-assurance in handling change in a service that is evolving.
